2021 Coaching Positions

Are you a highly motivated & strategic coach? If so, Dianella Morley Amateur Football Club (DMAFC) is seeking expressions of interest from dynamic individuals to lead the club both on and off the field.

The Club – The Dianella Morley Amateur Football Club (DMAFC) was formed in 1991 from its predecessors, the Dianella Panthers and the Morley Bulldogs. The Dianella Morley Raiders currently field two teams: league and reserves. Our newly refurbished club rooms are based at Dianella Open Space, Light St, Dianella. Our league team has an excellent track record of reaching the finals over the last five years, winning the 2017 C3 Premiership and reaching the C2 finals in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, our Colts team won the Laurie Keene Colts Premiership. At DMAFC, our core value is that of RESPECT, and we promote equal opportunity for all players, encouraging fair play and sportsmanship. Our club embraces individuals from all cultural backgrounds which is represented in the diversity of our teams. We commence the 2021 season looking to build on the successes of recent years.

The Role – The Club is seeking to appoint a C2 Reserves coach for the 2021 season.

Key accountabilities of this coaching role are:

• A track record in developing and leading a successful team;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills;
• Ability to attract players & sponsors;
• Ability to develop and implement effective pre-season and general season programs, effective game plans and the capability to ensure appropriate structures are in place to support this;
• Ability to contribute to the development of skills, physical attributes, football knowledge and personal growth of all players;
• Ability to lead and influence all players in line with the club values;
• Capacity to communicate strongly with the playing group, coaching group and club committee; and
• Desire to positively contribute to the life of the club.
