The Secret Harbour Dockers Football Club (SHDFC) is seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join and contribute to our coaching team in season 2021. The SHDFC is a part of Perth Football League and field men's League, Reserves and Colts teams in the C3 competition.

The SHDFC are seeking passionate applications for the following positions:   

• C3 Men's Reserves Coach  
• Colts Men's Coach  

Key responsibilities of these coaching roles are:

• Develop / revise code of conduct for coaching staff and players that supports the objectives of the Club on and off the field.
• Liaise with the Club Executive to recruit Assistant Coaches & Reserves Grade Coach.
• Manage the recruitment of players in consultation with the Club Executives.
• Lead and influence all players across the club in line with the club trademark and core values.
• Develop and implement a robust pre-season program and coordinate in season training programs that maximises the development of all players within the Club.
• Develop and implement a successful game plan during the season ensuring appropriate resources and structures are in place to support this.
• Contribute to the development of skills, physical attributes, football knowledge and personal growth of all players within the Club.
• Communicate strongly with the playing group, nominated Club Football Operations personnel and the and Club Executive.
• Ability to lead and influence all players in line with the club values.

The successful applicants will be required to demonstrate the below essential attributes and / or experiences:  

• Passionate about building the Club 'Culture' so as the SHDFC is a club of choice.
• Proven ability to attract players to the Club in consultation with the Executive Committee.
• Is a strong leader and displays applicable communication skills with a range of stakeholders.  
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong aspiration to contribute to the to life of the club.  

Pre-Season Training will commence December 2020. Season commencing April 2021 and Concluding September 2021.  

Highly competitive remuneration will be on offer to the successful applicants and will be discussed during the selection process.
