State Coaches - Perth Football League

The Perth Football League is seeking expressions of interest for 2021 State Coaches.

The Perth Football League will play WA Country Football League under lights at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Friday 23 July in the longest running grudge match in grassroots footy.

The night will include the first Women's State teams for both Leagues, followed by the Men's State teams.

The following coaching positions are available:

  • PFL State Men's Head Coach.
  • PFL State Women's Head Coach.

Responsibilities:

  • Effective coordination and implementation of training sessions during the program.
  • Ability to promote and build a positive culture.
  • Creating a suitable and cohesive game-plan.
  • Lead and interact with the playing group to develop personal and football related strengths.
  • Lead role in player selections.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a head coach at Senior level and/or elite youth performance level.
  • Demonstrated coaching experience with Level 2 Coaching Accreditation (minimum).
  • Excellent communication skills including effective mentoring skills.
  • High quality football knowledge regarding overall strategy and game sense.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communications skills.
