2022 Perth Football League Season Fixtures Tue, March 15, 2022 - 2:05 PM

The Perth Football League has today released the full fixtures for the 2022 Season, with the Men's competition to commence on Saturday 2 April and the CTF Women's competition on Saturday 9 April.

A record 71 Clubs will participate this season with 325 teams competing across 32 grades.

Senior Men's and Colts Grades will play an 18-round season, while the CTF Women's Grades have expanded to a 16-round season.

2767 games have been fixtured for the 2022 home-and-away season across all grades with two bye rounds scheduled on 16 April (Easter weekend) and 4 June. An additional bye for the A Grade Men's competition will be on 6 August before round 17.

The CTF Women's competition continues to grow with 13 new teams joining taking the total number of teams to 65 after launching in 2018 with 16 teams.

Bassendean, Cockburn Cobras, Kelmscott, Mosman Park, Mount Lawley, Noranda, Roleystone, Secret Harbour and Trinity Aquinas join with one side each while Canning South Perth, Kingsley, North Fremantle and Ocean Ridge have all added a second women's side.

The opening rounds of the A Grade Men's competition will see some big match-ups with the two oldest clubs in the League, University and Fremantle CBC going head-to-head in the opening round, while Curtin Uni Wesley will host a Grand Final rematch against last year's premiers Kingsway in Round Four on Saturday April 30.

Round One in the CTF Women's competition will see the only two clubs to have won the A Grade Premiership, University and Curtin Uni Wesley face off against each other, while Piara Waters will be desperate to make amends from last year's Grand Final loss to Curtin Uni Wesley in Round Four on Saturday May 7.

Integrated fixtures will be released in the coming weeks with the season set to kick off on 23 April.

While COVID-19 continues to impact the community, the health and welfare of all involved remains the priority and all matches will operate in a safe manner based on advice of respective Governments and health authorities.
