Inclusive Football Takes Centre Stage at PFL Grand Finals

All abilities football took centre stage at Kingsway Reserve on Saturday, with the Life Without Barriers Integrated Grand Finals and inaugural She Can Play Grand Final providing a memorable first weekend of Grand Finals in the 2026 HIF PFL Finals Series.
Three premierships were decided across the day, bringing together players, families, volunteers and supporters for a celebration of inclusive community football.
High Wycombe claims B Division premiership
High Wycombe claimed the 2026 Life Without Barriers Integrated B Division premiership, defeating Swan Districts 7.3 (45) to 4.8 (32).
Blake Meyn starred for High Wycombe, kicking a five-goal bag whilst Joshua [GM1] Thompson and Troy Pyke were strong in support by adding a major each to the tally.
High Wycombe’s Graeme Govan (#25) was judged best on ground following an outstanding performance in the Grand Final.
Canning Vale creates history in She Can Play
Canning Vale created history as the inaugural She Can Play premiers, defeating Kingsway 7.6 (48) to 3.5 (23).
Introduced in 2026, She Can Play has created a dedicated opportunity for women with disability to represent their local football clubs and experience everything that comes with being part of a community football team.
Canning Vale’s Tracey Toms (#10) was recognised as best on ground in the historic premiership victory.
The first She Can Play Grand Final was an important milestone for the competition and added another significant chapter to the growth of all abilities football within the PFL.
Kingsway crowned A Division premiers
Kingsway secured the 2026 Life Without Barriers Integrated A Division premiership with an 8.4 (52) to 3.4 (22) victory over Willetton.
The forward line saw an even spread for Kingsway with goals from Matthew Iles, Raepheal Savage, Scott Crawford, Chris Freear, Vinnie Fraser and Kayden Rodgers. The icing on the cake came from Blake Cooper put through two goals.
Willetton were gallant all day, with plenty of passages of play being repelled in the Blues’ back half; however, the team couldn’t find a way to put any scoreboard pressure on.
Kingsway’s Vinnie Fraser (#31) was awarded best on ground following an outstanding performance in the premiership decider.
WA All Abilities Football Association Executive Officer Hayden Marchetto said the day was a fantastic celebration of the players and everyone involved in all abilities football.
“Saturday was a fantastic celebration of everything all abilities football is about.
“There was plenty of excitement around the premierships, and what really stood out was seeing the players surrounded by their teammates, families, volunteers and football clubs.
“To also have our first She Can Play Grand Final as part of the day was incredibly special and another significant step forward for all abilities football in WA.”
Perth Football League CEO Andrew Dawe said the day demonstrated the important place Integrated football holds within the League.
“Our Integrated players are footballers representing their clubs, competing for premierships and contributing to the culture of those clubs.
“Saturday was their opportunity to take centre stage and the atmosphere created by the players, families, volunteers and supporters at Kingsway was fantastic.
“Seeing the first She Can Play premiership decided on the same day was another really positive step. We want community football to provide a place for people to participate, connect and belong, and Saturday was a great example of that.”
