Match of the Week – Ellenbrook V Dianella Morley

The Keystart Home Loans Match of the Week is between Ellenbrook and Dianella Morley who sit 9th and 10th respectively with one game separating them in the D Grade competition.? Both teams are coming off of strong round seven performances and will take confidence with them as they emerge from the general bye weekend to face off at Coolamon Oval.

Ellenbrook has more than just 4 premiership points to play for when they take on Dianella-Morley this weekend. Club Captain Paul Saylor will play his 300th Amateur game. Saylor is one of the most respected players in the competition and both Reserves and League teams will be trying their hardest to record a win for him.

Ellenbrook are a young club on the move and are getting bigger each year. With over 400 members in their junior club, the future looks very bright for the Eels.

Dianella Morley aim to keep the momentum from last season’s finals appearance going as they strive to play finals again in 2008.? They currently sit two games adrift but are confident of bridging the gap. Fortunes have turned around with two wins from their last three matches after a slow start to the season that saw four straight losses.

Cameron Langeberg, Chad Wilson, Daniel Pletch and Paul Chinotto have adapted well to senior footy after coming up from Colts and are impressing week in and week out.? Matt Allen, Matt Dinardo and Nick Wells are providing great leadership for the young players to follow.

Dianella Morley will hold their annual ‘Legends Match’ at Light Street Reserve on 12th July after clashing with St Norberts during the day.? It is a great chance for all past champions to get back to the club and catch up with old mates and ensure a great evening and special atmosphere.
