PFL State Umpires Appointed

As the Perth Football League prepares to take on the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), the spotlight extends beyond the players to include the umpires tasked with officiating both the State Men’s and Women’s matches.

The PFL congratulates the following umpires appointed to these games taking place on Sunday 7 July at Steel Blue Oval.

PFL v VAFA Men’s
Field: Stephen Herd & Amy Markusic
Boundary: Nic Chapman & Ben Morton
Goals: David Dique & Jason Tyrell

PFL v VAFA Women’s
Field: Amy Miller & Athena Mendoza
Boundary: Taj Trewin & Andrew Ho
Goals: Beau Siano & Noah Wilson

It’s crucial to recognise and appreciate the pivotal role umpires play in our great game, particularly when it comes to the representative level. Each of our umpires should be commended for their skill and commitment to community football.

We wish all appointed umpires a great game whether it be blowing the whistle, running the boundary or waiving the flags in the goals.
