Scarborough celebrate 50 year anniversary

The Scarborough Amateur Football Club celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2019.

The anniversary will be celebrated with various events throughout the year including a Gala Dinner on Saturday 3 August.

Special awards will be given out for past service and achievements, culminating in naming the team of the first 50 years.

Last Saturday the league side wore a specially designed ‘Retro Guernsey’ complete with yellow shorts.

The Guernsey’s honour the inaugural colts side and is a throwback to the early years of the club.

The Guernsey’s also feature the clubs four A Grade premiership sides and will be auctioned off at the gala dinner.
