Skill Hire Finals Series kicks off for 19 grades

The 2018 Skill Hire Finals Series begins this Saturday 18 August for Men’s Grades B and below.

Fifty-one clubs have made their way into finals so far with North Beach (D1, D1R, E2, BJC, WA) leading the way with five teams into finals already while Ballajura (C1, C1R, IDC, E3), Fremantle CBC (D1, D1R, E2, BJC), North Fremantle (B, BR, D1, DBC), Ocean Ridge (C2, C2R, E2, LKC) Swan Athletic (B, BR, E1, DBC), University (D1, D1R, BJC, WA) and Whitford (B, BR, DBC, BJC) all have four teams through so far.

Teams that finished on top of the ladder at the end of round eighteen will have a week’s break before beginning their finals campaigns next weekend.

Minor premiers in our league competitions were B Kingsley, C1 Ballajura, C2 Warnbro Swans, C3 Coolbinia, C4 Jandakot, D1 University, E1 Roleystone, E2 Fremantle CBC, E3 Forrestfield, WA Curtin Uni Wesley and WB Rossmoyne.

In the Colts competitions, our minor premiers were DBC Swan Athletic, IDC Bassendean, LKC Secret Harbour and BJC North Beach.

Four teams remained undefeated throughout the entire home and away season with North Fremantle (BR), Warnbro Swans (C2) and Jandakot (C4, C4R) all yet to lose a match in 2018.

With four teams undefeated there were also nine teams who only lost one match during the year.

While our Women’s Grades began their finals campaigns last weekend, A Grade, A Reserves, Phil Scott Colts and Integrated will complete their home and away seasons this weekend with finals commencing on Saturday 25 August.
