Upcoming Club Umpire Courses

WE would like to remind all clubs of the upcoming club umpire information sessions over the next fortnight. There will be sessions held on the 6th and 13th of April at Hamer Park in Mount Lawley for umpires north of the river and a session held on the 7th of April at Collier Reserve in Como for umpires south of the river.

Tomorrow night’s session at Hamer Park will run from 6pm to 7pm with a sausage sizzle being provided afterwards by the Umpires Association.

The session this Thursday, the 7

th

of April at Collier Reserve will be run in two blocks from 5:30pm to 6:00pm and then again from 6:00pm to 6:45pm for umpires who cannot make the first session.

A basic field umpires course is scheduled for the 13th April at Hamer Park in Mount Lawley and will run from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. All clubs are strongly advised to invite any new umpires, prospective new umpires or umpires wanting a re-fresher to attend. If you are serious about skilling your umpires the course will provide a great opportunity to help improve the match day environment.

All umpires wanting to attend the course on the 13th of April at Hamer Park please RSVP to Glenn Omodei on 9381 5599 or via email at gomodei@wafc.com.au

We ask that all clubs please encourage as many of your club umpires to attend as possible.

For more information please contact Glenn Omodei at the WA Football Commission on 9381 5599.
