North Fremantle arrive at Saturday’s B Reserves decider as the competition’s undefeated force.

Midfielder and captain Hayden Krikke sets the standard for the Magpies, taking on much of the tough inside work and consistently putting his body on the line. 

Workhorse teammate Sam Ryan also provides North Fremantle with grunt at the contest through his relentless pressure and attack on the footy.

Down back, Bruce Burnett is an exciting defender who provides plenty of spark for the minor premiers.

Burnett reads the play exceptionally well, backs himself to run and carry, and uses the ball with excellent skill and composure.

Elusive and creative half forward Jordyn Penheiro make things happen in attack for North Fremantle. 

Penheiro is particularly dangerous around stoppages, using his speed, awareness and natural goal sense to keep opposition defenders on their toes.

Collegians have taken the scenic route to face the Magpies, but will enter the grand final fuelled by three weeks of momentum following wins over Swan Athletic, Whitford and West Coast.

Key forward Tom Ristovsky has led Collegians’ finals charge as the team’s leading goal-kicker in this season’s HIF Health Insurance Finals Series. 

Ristovsky’s forward craft and leading patterns are relentless, constantly finding space and giving his midfielders a target to hit at every opportunity.

Mitch Hewitt and Liam Dey will be hoping to arrest North Fremantle’s vaunted midfield from the first bounce.

Hewitt is a quick, composed midfielder with elite decision-making, while Dey is a small, compact midfielder who brings the rare mix of a shutdown tagger’s bite with sharp decision-making once he has the ball in hand. 

Defender Ryan O’Connell is Collegians’ big man in the back line, an elite intercept and pack marker whose ball-reading ability puts him a step ahead of the play.

A true acknowledgement of both clubs’ domination in C1 this season, Wembley and Wanneroo will meet in both the league and reserves Grand Finals.

The reserves’ Second Semi Final followed a similar script to the league’s, the undefeated Roos being upset by the challenging Magpies.

Wembley’s Lucas Francis was a key cog in that victory. 

One of 3 Francis brothers in the side, alongside ruckman Nat & forward Noah, Francis is devastating when he moves forward of the ball coming out of the midfield.

Up forward for the Magpies, the versatile Tom Mackintosh is a dynamic mover who is fantastic both on the lead and below his feet.

Coach last year, Daniel Newton adds forward line presence and leadership to his side’s front half. 

Expect Newton to be at the feet of talls Noah Francis and Todd Brown all day, whilst also popping up for a few grabs himself.

The Roos recovered from their second semi-final defeat to knock off Hamersley Carine in last week’s preliminary final.

C1 Reserves Best & Fairest, Ben “Bruiser” Seivwright, is Wanneroo’s modern-day prototype ruckman. 

Athletic and Powerful, Seivwright’s ability to give midfielders Michael Halliday and Matt Finchett first use, while also being an elite user himself, sets him apart from other rucks.

Finchett has given the Roos brutal and uncompromising strength at both the ball and player at stoppages since returning to the park after an injury-interrupted start to his season.

Medium forward Ryan Hosking booted 80 goals in 2026 and has been the standout forward in the C1 Reserves competition. 

He will be Wanneroo’s attacking lynchpin on Saturday morning.

Kingsley earned their place in the C2 Reserves Grand Final with an 11-point win over Belmont Districts in the second semi-final.

Leading the Cats are courageous captain Daniel Conca and competition best and fairest Josh McPhee.

McPhee adds plenty of run through the midfield for Kingsley, with the bonus ability of kicking long goals.

Ruck Craig Scoffern gives his teammates first use of the ball at stoppages and sets up play with handball around the ground.

In attack, Ethan Marafioti can turn it on with his pace and goal sense.

Marafioti is Kingsley’s leading goal kicker this season with 50. 

Nick Armour is the Cats’ very own interceptor in the back six, reading the ball well and repelling many opposition attacking moves.

Swan Valley’s forward line, led by Tyson Pettigrove and Adam Faulkner, will look to make Armour’s day difficult. 

Pettigrove has kicked 48 goals for the season, while former Swan Districts forward Adam Faulkner gives Valley a dynamic presence in attack, also slotting 37 majors.

Captain Eric Burgess is Swan Valley’s defensive marshal at centre half back alongside role player Kaj Mosedale, while vice-captain Oscar Grundy and James Claxon provide class and composure in the midfield.

Coby Freeman is Swan Valley’s versatile swingman, while Mitchell Dunn is a hard running midfielder and forward who can hit the scoreboard.

Willetton handed Coolbinia their first loss of the season to book their ticket to Gosnells Oval.

The Falcons entered the game 16-0 but got ambushed by the hungry Blues.

Willetton’s defensive rock Matt Steacy is a sound communicator who provides composure and leadership behind the footy, constantly directing traffic and keeping his teammates organised. 

Bringing plenty of experience and composure around the contest, old head Harly Anderson combines his smooth skills and footy smarts in the midfield for the Blues, while teammate Jono Burge up forward is Willetton’s assist king.

Burge’s vision, unselfishness and ability to spot the best option inside 50 make him a nightmare for opposition defenders.

Tom Burke’s aerial ability gives the team a genuine target, while his strength and work rate at ground level make him equally damaging once the ball hits the deck. 

Leading goal scorer in C3 reserves two years running, Luke Berendsen is Coolbinia’s Mr Reliable. 

Berendsen is dominant in the air, a deadeye for goals, and has a team-first mentality, always looking to involve his teammates.

Playing his first year of senior football, Colts-aged Ewan Judkins has slotted into the Falcons’ reserves seamlessly. 

The young star combines silky skills with shifty feet.

Kieran Harding is the Falcons’ dominant ruckman primed for the big stage. 

Hungry to taste premiership success after his side’s second semi-final hiccup, Harding’s aerial presence and contested groundwork complement his ruck work.

Curtin Uni Wesley has been the team to beat in C4 this year, but will face a strong challenge from 4th-placed High Wycombe on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs have run the gauntlet to take on Curtin Uni Wesley and will enter the game confident they can take down the Tigers again after they beat them in Round 18.

Leading High Wycombe’s finals charge is Daniel Patching, a crafty midfielder who is equally smart on both sides of his body. 

Patching has an unbelievable ability to take a mark and is dangerous with both his left and right foot, making him extremely hard to shut down. He also loves sneaking forward to kick a goal.

One of the Bulldogs’ toughest players. Liam Kelly loves to run and has a great tank, working hard both ways and running all four quarters.

For Curtin Uni Wesley, rangy back pocket Justin Hirning reads the play well and knows when to leave his man.

Wingman Mark Faletti is a good user of the ball who likes to sneak forward for a goal, while teammate Benjamin Cox is a no-nonsense midfielder who likes a hard contested ball.

The pacy Tim Cronin likes a goal when floating between the wing and half-forward.

Winning a premiership from fifth is arguably one of the hardest things to achieve in the PFL, but Bayswater will give it a good shake on Saturday when they face minor premier Rossmoyne in the C5 Reserves grand final.

Dominant inside midfielder Cody Winmar has turned contests to his team’s favour during the Blues’ Cinderella run through the HIF Health Insurance Finals Series.

A natural ball-winner who attacks the contest fervently, Winmar also provides his side with aerial presence beyond his stature.

On the outside, Kieran Abrams has provided Bayswater with run and carry on the wing in his first season.

A key forward with a booming kick and a knack for taking huge contested marks, Kyle Cosson is the Blues’ leading target on goal.

Cosson has formed a formidable partnership with fellow key forward Atem Arok, giving Bayswater a dangerous one-two punch inside 50.

Louis McWhirter is the Blues’ versatile big-bodied swingman who has proven he can impact games at both ends of the ground, swinging into defence this season.

Like their league team, Rossmoyne’s reserves have been the yardstick this season and will join their senior side in the grand final.

After a patchy start, the Rhinos have charged into the big dance on a 12-game winning streak.

There will be some selection headaches for Rossmoyne, with Chris Gray and Jeffrey Willey both featuring for the Rhinos’ league team in their preliminary final win last weekend, in addition to the second semi-final win over Baldivis in the reserves the week prior.

Former Essendon star Leroy Jetta and son Levi headline the Rhinos’ team.

The junior Jetta is impossible to tackle, slick in the contest and will be at his dad’s feet if the ball hits the ground.

Young wingman Brodie Allan gives his side run on the wing, while Sean Pollard is a contested midfielder with poise.
