Budget Car and Truck Rental A Grade Men
University 6.12 (48) defeated by Kingsway 11.5 (71)
The Roos gave their confidence a boost heading into the upcoming finals, comfortably knocking off contender University away from home by 23 points.
Kingsway led at every change in one of multiple finals previews played in A Grade Round 17.
It was a defensive masterclass from the visitors, led by Isaac Clinch (9 rebound 50s, 111 ranking points) as they held University goalless in the first term.
Kingsway’s Braydn Furmark and Bailey Nylander controlled the air with nine marks each, while Cyrus Upson (124 ranking points and 25 disposals) kept the ball moving all day for University.
The win means 5th-placed Kingsway close within four points of University heading into this week’s final round.
The Roos will need a massive percentage boost and for Uni to also go down heavily against Curtin Uni Wesley to jump up into fourth.
Scarborough 4.11 (35) defeated by Mt Lawley 9.10 (64)
The Hawks are now safe from relegation, defeating Scarborough in front of a big crowd at Millington Oval for their second straight win.
The visitors got their kicking game going and controlled possession throughout, having 38 more uncontested marks than Scarborough.
Nathan Eaton (26 disposals, 9 inside 50s) and Lachie Dique (24 disposals, 5 rebound 50s) were crucial for Mt Lawley in a win that guarantees their safety in A Grade for at least another season.
It was a miserable day in front of goal for the Sea Eagles, arriving at three-quarter time with 1.10.
Scott Tyers kicked all four of his side’s majors, playing a lone hand in attack for the home side.
The loss sets up a cutthroat clash against Ocean Ridge this weekend, with the winner to stay in A Grade and the loser condemned to go down.
Trinity Aquinas 14.11 (95) defeated Ocean Ridge 9.5 (59)
The Eagles will be playing for their future in A Grade in this week’s final round after the Boomers beat them by six goals at Bill Grayden Reserve.
TAs continued their impressive finish to the season with a gargantuan second-quarter onslaught where they piled on eight goals, setting up the victory.
Matthew Rodan (30 disposals) and Callum Pattinson (26 disposals) won the hard ball for the Boomers at the contest.
Reece Jolliffe kicked five goals for the visitors, while Brodie Matthew Gray once again topped his side’s disposal count with 29.
Baldivis 7.4 (46) defeated by North Beach 17.11 (113)
The Tigers locked in the A Grade minor premiership with a comprehensive 67-point win over the Brumbies.
The relegation-bound Baldivis secured an unlikely quarter-time lead through two majors to Tyson Powell, but it would be all North Beach from then on.
Justin Prior and Frank Anderson had 29 disposals each for the Tigers as their claims for a second straight flag grow stronger by the week.
Alexander Marklew has cantered home to top the grade’s goalkicking, slotting another bag of seven on Saturday to bring his total to 63 for the season, 13 clear of Kingsway spearhead Braydn Furmark in second.
Fremantle C.B.C 6.8 (44) defeated by Curtin Uni Wesley 14.6 (90)
Curtin Uni Wesley showed on Saturday why they have become an A Grade powerhouse over the past decade.
In a likely early insight into the Qualifying Final in a fortnight, the Tigers ambushed CBC right from the first bounce, setting up a 46-point victory which keeps their second-spot chances alive.
Kyle Hamersley had 31 disposals and six tackles in a performance which will likely give him the three votes, while teammate George Wessels also had 25 touches and 13 inside 50s.
Dillon O’Reilly kicked three majors for CBC.
The loss is CBC’s second in recent weeks against top three sides, a dent to their aspirations ahead of the upcoming finals.

Budget Car and Truck Rental A Grade Women
Baldivis 3.5 (23) defeated by North Beach 8.4 (52)
The Tigers secured their first win since Round 9 off the back of another
Siénna Joubert masterclass, the ruck dominating with 26 hitouts and two goals in her side’s 29-point victory.
North Beach controlled the game throughout, winning inside 50s 30-21 and contested possessions 109-92.
The Brumbies will now head to Melville to face the Rams this week knowing they must win to avoid relegation.
Hamersley Carine 1.1 (7) defeated by University 9.12 (66)
The Stormers continued their push towards back-to-back flags with a convincing 59-point win over Hawks at Beach Oval.
Keeping the home side scoreless for the first three quarters, University piled on the pain for Hamersley Carine, with Caitlin Vallelonga and Rebecca Tuckey each finishing with three goals.
State captain Amy Hunt had 26 disposals for the Hawks, who will face local rivals North Beach in their final game of the season to round out their maiden A Grade season.
Curtin Uni Wesley 7.8 (50) defeated Quinns District 1.0 (6)
The Tigers are finding form at the right time after a lean few weeks, easily accounting for finals fancies Quinns by 44 points.
Conceding the first goal, Curtin Uni Wesley would go on to kick the next seven and hold the Bulls scoreless for the remainder of the match.
Hope Ugle-Hayward starred for the Tigers with 21 disposals and seven tackles, while Monica Yengi had 15 touches and six tackles for the Bulls.
The loss means Quinns District will need North Fremantle to lose to the Tigers this week and knock off Wembley to qualify for this season’s finals.
Wembley 6.11 (47) defeated Melville 2.1 (13)
The Magpies continued their winning run, blowing the Rams away in the second half to run out 34-point victors on Saturday morning.
Holly Hunt kicked two important majors for Wembley, while Parris Laurie was once again a force in the ruck for the Magpies with 31 disposals and five marks.
Isabella Strnadica kept her terrific season going, topping Melville’s disposal count with 19.
In another genuine relegation clash, the Rams will face Baldivis on Saturday afternoon for a spot in A Grade next season.
Trinity Aquinas 5.15 (45) defeated North Fremantle 2.1 (13)
The Boomers peppered the goals against the Magpies in their 15th win for the season, arriving at halftime with 2.11 in what could have easily been a much greater margin of victory.
Vice captain Jess Schleicher kicked two majors for Trinity Aquinas to bring her tally to 43 majors for the season.
A big test is incoming for the Boomers this week against reigning premiers University in what could shape as this year’s two grand finalists.
Clinging onto the final spot in the top five, North Fremantle need to defeat Curtin Uni Wesley in this week’s last round to guarantee their place in this season’s finals.

Budget Car and Truck Rental B Grade Women
It was another screening of the Jacinta Stevens show on Saturday morning as the forward once again proved critical for Bullcreek Leeming in their victory over Ocean Ridge in the B Grade elimination final.
In a physical encounter, Stevens’ strong hands and classy finishing proved the difference as she converted four of her side’s five goals to emerge victorious 5.6 (36) to 1.1 (7).
Achol Deng was the Eagles best in the 29-point loss that eliminates them from this season’s finals.
The Bombers will face Swan Athletic in Saturday’s first semi-final after Kwinana upset the Swans by 18 points in last week’s qualifying final.
The Knights conceded the first three goals of the game but would finish the match emphatically with three of their own to claim a hard fought victory.
Kwinana will now take on undefeated minor premiers Scarborough in the second semi final, with a grand final spot on the line.
Budget Car and Truck Rental B Grade Men
Two late goals saved Bullcreek Leeming from relegation in Saturday afternoon’s thrilling do-or-die clash with Collegians, majors to Rory Williams and Jack Drennan assuring them of B Grade footy in 2027.
The loss meant that despite a spirited finish to the season, Collegians would be joining Melville in C1 next season.
Cockburn Lakes knocked off the relegation-bound Rams by 61 points to lock in a home elimination final against West Coast this week, while minor premiers Whitford quickly snuffed out Kalamunda’s slim hopes of playing finals football in a 60 point victory.
North Fremantle survived a late scare from 3rd placed Brentwood Booragon in a preview of this weekend’s qualifying final between the two sides, winning by 9 points.

Quinns District have outlasted Mosman Park at the last gasp to stave off relegation.
The Bulls defeated Cockburn Cobras by 45 points on Saturday, but had a nervous wait to see if other results had fallen their way.
Thornlie’s thrilling six-point win over the Mozzies confirmed the Bulls had been propelled into safety, a result that seemed unlikely after they lost their first seven matches of 2026.
Mosman Park will join Jandakot in C2 next season, after the Jets finished their season with a 34-point loss to Kwinana at Medina Oval.
Minor premier Wanneroo put the icing on an undefeated season by overwhelming fellow finalist Hamersley Carine by 75 points in a nine goal to one second half.
The Hawks’ opponents in this week’s Qualifying Final, Wembley, easily defeated Forrestdale by 67 points to conclude their regular season.
